Your work will ensure our data is reliable, scalable, and secure, directly impacting our ability to analyze threats and respond effectively.

What You’ll Do:

\n

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using leading cloud platform tools, including advanced data warehousing solutions, scalable cloud storage, and workflow orchestration.

\n* Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support comprehensive data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
\n* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts to deeply understand data requirements and deliver highly effective solutions.
\n* Implement and champion best practices for data quality, data governance, and data security across all pipelines.
\n* Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
\n* Contribute significantly to data architecture decisions, providing strategic recommendations for continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.
\n* Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud-based data engineering and the dynamic field of cybersecurity.
\n* Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, engage in free dialogue, and verbalize ideas effectively.
\n* Thrive in an Agile work environment, delivering incremental value to customers by efficiently managing and prioritizing tasks.
\n* Proactively lead investigation and resolution efforts when data issues are identified, taking full ownership to resolve them in a timely manner.
\n* Develop and document clear processes and procedures for producing critical metrics. \n

Must-Have Qualifications:

\n

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

\n* 5+ years of hands-on experience with comprehensive data management, including gathering data from multiple sources, consolidating it into a centralized location, and transforming it with business logic for consumable visualization and data analysis.
\n* Strong expertise in leading cloud platform services, including advanced data warehousing solutions, scalable cloud storage, and workflow orchestration tools.
\n* Proficiency in Python (including API coding experience) and SQL for robust data processing and automation.
\n* Extensive experience with ETL processes and sophisticated data pipeline design.
\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
\n* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in team environments. \n

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

\n

• Experience with data visualization tools for dashboard development.

\n* Experience with other cloud data processing and messaging services.
\n* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as infrastructure-as-code.
\n* Familiarity with various data visualization tools.
\n* Understanding of cybersecurity data tools and analysis methodologies.
\n* One or more of the following certifications: CompTIA Sec+, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, and/or CISA.
\n* Understanding of security control frameworks such as NIST, CIS controls, COBIT, ISO. \n
