Seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician to provide ongoing locum coverage due to a recruitment gap, with needs extending into 2026 . This is an onsite Emergency Department role with overnight coverage needs and a supportive, team-based environment.

Ongoing coverage with current need including an overnight shift (8:00 PM 8:00 AM)

Trauma designation: Provisional Level IV

Staffing & Support
Provider team includes 4 full-time physicians, 1 PRN physician
APP support: 1 full-time midlevel and 2 PRN
Locum physician will supervise the midlevel on duty
Hospitalists manage most admissions
ED staff respond to house codes with hospitalist leadership; anesthesia available during daytime for backup
ED provides airway support during codes

24/7 lab services, blood bank (AABB-certified), pathology, and OR availability
Imaging: CT and X-ray available; MRI not available
Surgical services: Orthopedics
Cardiology consults available; cardiology provides official EKG interpretations

Candidate Requirements
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with 2+ years of recent ED experience
Active Michigan medical license required at time of submission (IMLC not accepted)

Clean background for expedited credentialing
Required certifications: BLS and ACLS ; ATLS and PALS required for non EM boarded physicians
DEA required
Must provide availability for listed dates at time of name clear
