Position: Inpatient Psychiatrist
Location: Bronx, New York

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our hospital-employed team in the Bronx, New York. This is a permanent inpatient opportunity to serve as a Unit Chief, offering both clinical leadership and academic involvement in a collaborative hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care as Unit Chief
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, residents, and medical staff
• Lead, mentor, and teach psychiatry residents in both clinical and academic settings
• Carry a limited number of direct patient responsibilities
• Ensure quality patient care and compliance with hospital policies and standards
• Contribute to departmental meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing education efforts

Position Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required
• Commitment to teaching, supervision, and evidence-based patient care
