The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care by performing assessments, monitoring pain, and educating patients and families under the supervision of an RN or provider. The role includes observing patient conditions, administering medications correctly, maintaining equipment, and adhering to hospital policies and nursing standards. This full-time position requires current New York State Practical Nursing Registration and CPR certification.
Job Summary
The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
