Job Full Description Hours: M-Th, 1st shift, 4-10 hours shifts
Dress code : Nothing inappropriate, steel toes suggested, not required.
Protective clothing/equipment required: Steel toe shoes or boots, gloves when handling sharp or abrasive objects.
Job Description: Job Summary: The Material Handler for the Plastic Injection Molding department is responsible for the efficient movement, handling, and storage of raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring that materials are properly staged for production, managing inventory, and facilitating the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process. Candidates are required to have forklift and box truck driving experience. Plastic industry experience is preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of raw materials used in plastic injection molding, including safe handling practices.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Basic math skills for inventory management and material preparation.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).
Forklift certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
