License: Must have an active Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.


Must-Have:
- Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for.
- One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty is required.


Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
The role involves working night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry prior to applying.
An active Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required upon submission.
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
References must come from a supervisor or manager within the specialty applying for.
All required certifications need to be active with no pending issues.
Candidates must pass both the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
There are two attempts allowed to pass these assessments; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the position.
Candidates with open background cases will not be accepted.
Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements temporarily.
Drug screening for nicotine is required for all other travelers and must be updated annually.
Candidates must complete the required modules prior to starting the position.
Extensions may be available for a period of 18 months, followed by a required break.
