Gastroenterologist Position Overview:

iWorld Professionals is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, patient-centered clinical team within a dynamic academic-affiliated hospital environment. This role offers an excellent balance of outpatient gastroenterology care and inpatient consultative services, supported by strong clinical infrastructure and a highly collaborative medical staff.

This position includes opportunities to engage in resident education and mentorship within an Internal Medicine Residency Program—ideal for physicians who enjoy teaching while maintaining an active clinical practice.

• Competitive compensation $400,000 - $420,000 plus RVU-based productivity bonus

Gastroenterologist Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality general gastroenterology care in an outpatient setting
• Perform outpatient and inpatient endoscopic procedures (anesthesia-administered sedation)
• Manage a wide range of GI conditions
• Participate in inpatient GI consultations in collaboration with hospitalists and specialists
• Engage in informal teaching and case discussions with internal medicine residents
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment

Gastroenterologist Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP experience is a plus, but not required
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York
